The reason I created this Blog is because I never liked working for someone else & having to listen to the squabblings of office politics, as well as the favouritism shown to certain employees for promotions. I believe in being rewarded for the hard work you do. This is why I started my own business & why like to help others who feel the same way. Hopefully my story can help inspire you to start your own work from home business too! Being your own boss  & learning to make money online has its  advantages & I’ll tell you more, but before I do, let me tell you a little bit more about myself…..

I am 46 years old & I’ve been in network marketing industry in one form or another for the last 20 years or so….boy time flies! At the beginning, I had at that time just finished my apprenticeship as a General Machinist & was already frustrated with the blue collar industry. I hated the belittling treatment that upper management would give to the workers on the factory floor. It occurred to me at that time if I could build up a business, I would have something to leave to my son when I was ready to retire. My family had emigrated from Europe shortly after the war, they had worked hard to scrimp & save to buy a dairy farm they always wanted, so I believe I inherited some of that entrepreneurial spirit in me as well. My issue at that time was to get out of factory work I was doing, but didn’t know what else I could do.  I was led to try technical sales, which I really enjoyed, as I was more eager to deal with civilized people so it became a good fit for me which led me to think I could combine with a Network Marketing program.  People always told me that I was caring, friendly & easy to talk to person, which I had developed when I was boy during my paper route days.

However, I discovered there is a big difference from traditional sales & Network Marketing. Perhaps you found this as well? Whether you’ve had previous sales experience or not,  you can see with Network Marketing or MLM, the product or service is geared to cater to just about every person no matter what the age or demographic.  The problem for me was I had to relearn how to market to this kind of audience after coming from a more industry specific technical background. So that meant I was teachable to my up-line sponsor‘s recommendations by trying all the usual strategies he & the company suggested to promote my business.  You know what I mean?

* Make a list of everybody you know

* Make (buy) flyers & sizzle cards & hand them to anyone that comes within 3 ft of your presence.

* Go door to door to drop flyers or put them in car windshields in grocery store parking lots

* Put flyers up on bulletin boards in convenience stores, restaurants, or anywhere they are allowed

* Speak to all friends & family about the opportunity you have (great way to make a sure enemy, right?)

This worked ok for a short time to a point… I would be able to sell just enough of the product to cover my initial cost, but I would be nowhere near as successful as those leaders who somehow had built a massive down-line in their business. It just wasn’t duplicatable for me, & going to those hotels rah rah meetings once a week wasn’t helping build any down-line legs either.   I would try to teach my few team members to do what I was doing; it was like pushing a rope uphill! After exhausting my list of people I then needed more leads which became a real struggle, especially after being rejected from friends/family.  There weren’t enough leads coming in from all the flyers & sizzle cards either, which led me to try buying leads but this soon became too expensive & a waste of  a large part of my time when cold calling those leads.  I just knew there had to be a better way……somehow!

For the last couple of years I had been looking for a way to make money online. So I started to do some research & found that a good many people in traditional businesses were putting up web sites but were also having problems & couldn’t generate enough traffic for their sites. This led to learning how to market online with adwords etc….again I was only getting partial success, but nothing solid. This is when a few months ago I discovered MLMLSP which stands for “MLM Lead System Pro.”  They are a group of young entrepreneurs who found a way to combine all the aspects of what I was looking for all rolled into one system. This has led me to create/personalize my own site & to build on it from there. These guys are great! This has freed up time for me & provided leads exclusive to me & my opportunities only!
